Editorial counts only. The job shortlist comes from five named public employer boards and is not a national inventory or market-wide hiring measure.
Rare disease / Phase 3
Mirum's brelovitug meets the AZURE-1 primary endpoint
Mirum said both brelovitug dose groups met the Phase 3 study's Week 24 primary endpoint in chronic hepatitis delta: a combined virologic response and normalization of alanine aminotransferase, a liver-enzyme measure. The company also reported that longer follow-up from the Phase 2b portion showed deeper viral suppression and more patients reaching normal enzyme levels, with no new safety signal.
AZURE-1 is one of two pivotal studies intended to support a U.S. registration package. Mirum said it is targeting a biologics license application in the first half of 2027 and a potential U.S. launch in the fourth quarter of that year. Those dates remain plans, not regulatory outcomes.
Why it matters
A successful pivotal readout shifts attention from trial execution toward filing preparation, longer-term evidence, regulatory work and launch planning. Mirum did not connect the result to new hiring, so the career signal is functional—not a claim that the study created jobs.
Retina / Phase 3
Kodiak reports two DAYBREAK endpoints met
Kodiak said Zenkuda and tabirafusp-ted each met the one-year vision endpoint in the pivotal DAYBREAK study in wet age-related macular degeneration. Both were compared with aflibercept. Kodiak reported that 54% of Zenkuda-treated patients reached a 24-week dosing interval under the study's retreatment rules and said it plans a multi-indication Zenkuda filing in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The results support filing and follow-on analysis work, but they do not establish approval or a staffing plan. Kodiak said post-hoc analyses are planned for tabirafusp-ted.
Portfolio / Commercial operations
Zymeworks details its post-Theravance operating shape
Following last week's acquisition close, Zymeworks issued final transaction details and updated 2026 guidance. It said it will retain the existing commercial organization supporting hospital promotion of YUPELRI and expects the asset to add revenue and cash flow while it continues investing in R&D.
This is a portfolio-integration signal, not evidence of broad hiring. The update names a retained team but does not announce workforce expansion.
Capital / Clinical timing
OSE's runway narrows as Phase 3 enrollment continues
OSE Immunotherapeutics reported €11.1 million in cash at June 30 and said its current plan is funded through December 2026, including bridge financing arranged in May. It is seeking additional capital and evaluating partnership and debt options. The company said enrollment in the Phase 3 ARTEMIA lung-cancer study remains on track to finish by year-end, with a futility analysis now expected in early 2027.
For job seekers, this is a financing-risk signal alongside a live late-stage program. It should not be read as a layoff notice or a hiring commitment.
Public-board shortlist
Five current roles worth a closer look
These openings were visibly checked on their employers' application pages before publication. They are independent of the news above; no direct connection between an announcement and a listed role has been established.

The takeaway
Separate development momentum from employer demand.
Two pivotal results move programs toward regulatory decisions; a completed acquisition gives Zymeworks a more defined commercial base; and OSE's short runway keeps financing risk visible. The five openings offer concrete roles to evaluate now, but the bounded board sample cannot describe the wider market.
